Natural Disaster's Hidden Costs

May  9, 2011

When Tornados, Floods or Hurricanes occur; pets, horses and other animals can be separated from their owners and families by miles and for extendedtornado periods of time. Pets can be adopted out during the separation in an attempt to help the wondering animal. So when the original owner tries to reclaim their family member – ownership may have to be proven on the spot hurricaneto get your family member back. Same thing may occur for horses and other animals. For these reasons, MobiPetTags has announced an additional “Pet ID Photo” option for MobiPetTags customers, where they can keep up to 10 photos of personal pet photos specifically taken for identification purposes. All of the photos are available in seconds from our customer’s "Pet Information Page”. Thus if you are ever separated from your companion by events beyond your control you will always have at your finger tips the proof you will need to get your companion back with your family.

Saving Jim's Dog

Jim is a good friend of mine and a dog lover. He lost a companion of 14 years which took its toll on Jim's well-being. And as much as I tried to explain how much MobiPetTags could help in preventing his misfortune, Jim always said his companion never get out of his site - that is until it did. When using MobiPetTags you get 167 million searchers for free.

Jim’s Mistake Can Save Your Best Friend

Jim B. lost his best friend of 14 years when she walked away from his backyard and was never seen again. Jim went out every day for 4 months afterwards. Jim contacted the shelters and neighbors, including putting up posters and just about anything else he could think of. Jim went through a mourning process as if he lost a child, which all of us dog and cat lovers understood.

Jim now watches his other - younger dog like a hawk. When Jim is walking outside with his dog, which is rare, it is always on a short leash. Jim is determined not to go through the same situation again.

collageWhen Jim told me his story, I offered to provide him a free membership in MobiPetTag because I felt for Jim’s loss and I knew that if his companion would have had a MobiPetTag Collar Tag, Jim would have been reunited right away. And I know I can help prevent Jim from going through the same pain again. However, Jim refused the offer because he says that he watches this dog a lot more closely.

Unfortunately, neither Jim nor any of us can be sure we can prevent accidents from happening that release our companions into the unknown. Leashes can break, fences can be left open, pets can bolt through partially opened doors and animals can be intimidated by larger animals and run for safety (away from us). There are hundreds of circumstances that can occur that we cannot control that will result in our companions being on their own.

collar tag Fortunately, MobiPetTag has develop a system that brings over 2 billion people into the search group and expands greatly the probability of quickly finding a lost pet. The MobiPetTag System is the only Collar Tag that will enable anyone with an internet connected cell phone or computer to identify a lost pet instantly and with a single click from their cell phone call the owner and/or the pet’s veterinarian.

vetAnd if your companion is ever injured and is rushed to an emergency center (anywhere in the world) your companion’s medical records are available to you or the emergency care people straight from your pet's MobiPetTag.

If your companion gets lost MobiPetTag’s PetTagAlert system will immediately notify (we email your poster and key information about your companion) all shelters, clinics, volunteer pet rescuers, animal emergency hospitals, pounds, police stations and rescue organizations within a 5 mile radius of where you lost your pet (encouraged to photocopy the posters and to post up at least 10 copies around the local vicinity) when you activate a PetTagAlert emergency call. Also, an immediate notification of a lost pet will go out to our national network of MobiPetTag users and through our socialbroadcast network media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) accounts. MobiPetTag will also email you a Poster ready to print and send you a list of proven “Lost Pet Actions” you can take right away. All of this takes place within precious minutes of receiving your call.

No matter how much you love your companion or how much you believe you can prevent all accidents from happening, don’t take the chance, and add the best level of protection for your companion with the best product available - the MobiPetTag system.

I continue to keep the offer for Jim open and can only hope that he says yes before it’s too late.
